Junior Data Engineer
--Cognify Analytics, FB Area, Block 4, Karachi--
We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our onsite team in Karachi. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who want to build their career in data engineering, data pipelines, databases, and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines
- Work with databases and write SQL queries
- Clean and prepare data
- Support data extraction from different sources and APIs
- Help improve data quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Assist engineering and analytics teams
Must Have
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Must be available for a full-time onsite role in Karachi
- Willingness to learn data engineering tools and best practices
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of APIs
- Familiarity with pandas or data cleaning in Python
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Any academic, internship, or personal project related to data
